Matthew S. Rossen DMD, MD

Dr. Matthew Rossen was born and raised in South Florida. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Central Florida prior to obtaining his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University. After dental school, Dr. Rossen was accepted into a one-year internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. He then obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree while completing a 6-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at SUNY University at Buffalo in New York. Dr. Rossen has extensive training in the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery including impacted wisdom teeth, dental implants, bone grafts, facial trauma, corrective jaw surgery, TMJ surgery, and pathology. Dr. Rossen completed a one-year General Surgery Internship in addition to extensive training in hospital based anesthesia. He holds active certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

Professionally, Dr. Rossen’s focus is the comfort and care of his patients. He enjoys getting to know his patients to understand their needs in order to provide excellent care and a pleasant experience. Additionally, Dr. Rossen is a firm believer in giving back to the community through volunteer work and outreach, and has dedicated time in underserved areas of the country with Remote Area Medical Volunteer Corps.

In his free time, Dr. Rossen enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, cooking, and snorkeling. He is excited to be back home in South Florida.
