Niurka – Registered Dental Hygienist
Niurka is proudly from Miami and of Afro-Cuban descent. She began her journey in the dental industry in 2005 as a dental assistant. She loves making others smile and making visits more enjoyable with her bubbly and energetic personality. During her experience with braces, she sparked a new love for the dental field. This is what drove her to further her education and became a dental hygienist. While studying, she loved educating underserved and underprivileged communities. Niurka prefers to take a more natural and holistic approach to Dental hygiene for those open to seeking this path.
Upon graduating, Niurka was a recipient of the dental hygiene community service award in 2014. The following year she continued her education by obtaining a license expanding her functions to provide local Anesthesia. With this expanded certification, she can provide patients with a comfortable procedure should it be requested. Niurka is bi-lingual and ready to care for both English and Spanish speaking patients.
Niurka is a married mother of 2 boys, Oscar (12) and Elijah (1). When Niurka is not in the dental office she enjoys spending time with her family, listening to live music, and dancing.
