Dr. Gholami is Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She received her certificate in Periodontics and Masters in Craniofacial Biology from Nova Southeastern University College of Dentistry, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Before joining Nova, she earned a Post-Doctoral Fellowship Certificate in Advanced Periodontal Surgeries and Implantology from University of Florida College of Dentistry. Dr. Gholami also completed another M.S. in Periodontics/ Oral Biology and her Doctorate in Dental Surgery in Tehran, Iran. She actively has been engaged in teaching, practice and research in Advanced Periodontics and Implantology since then. Dr. Gholami has published and presented her research results in multiple conferences both nationally and internationally and has served as a reviewer for several journals in her professional society.

Dr. Gholami is double board certified in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery and member of American Academy of Periodontology and American Board of Periodontology. She has been honored to teach Periodontics and Implantology at University of Florida, University of Illinois at Chicago and currently at Nova Southeastern University to pursue her passion of educating and inspiring the young fresh mind of her students and residents. Dr. Gholami is committed to providing excellent patient care and life-long learning.
